SCHOLARSHIPS

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada administer more than 150 scholarship, fellowship and internship programs on behalf of governments, foundations and private sector companies - delivering more than 3,500 scholarships.  Although scholarships are a core component of the AUCC website, it offers much more such as educating students on general issues such as differentiating Undergraduate, Graduate, Masters and Doctoral (PhD) degrees.  We highly recommend this resource.  Click here.

Are you a graduating high school student or a post secondary student of Portuguese Canadian ancestry? If so, then you should apply for a scholarship through the Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals (FPCBP). In 2002, the FPCBP gave 21 scholarships with an average value over $2,000. Application deadlines are in early October. Are either of your parents a member of the Universal Workers Union? If so, then you should apply for a scolarship through Local 183. Local 183 rewards 24 post-secondary students per year with $2,000 scholarships. For more information, call Local 183 at (416) 242-7551, or click here.

If you are a graduating high school student of Portuguese descent and are planning to attend the University of Toronto, then this scholarship is right for you! The UofT Portuguese Association (UTPA) offers a series of scholarships. Click here.

NON-ACADEMIC GRANTS
